I think that, with the base appearance package, go with the Platinum. The grey bumpers are close, but not exactly the same, color as the Moonstone. If you were getting the Premium apperance package, I'd recommend Moonstone over Platinum, however.

Baby mirrors?

On my previous vehicle, I had a baby mirror attached to my rear-view mirror. However, the Vibe has a very thick rear-view mirror, due to the built-in map lights. Does anyone have a recommendation on brands for installing a baby mirror?

Re: Aux2Car vs. Ipod2car (Max_Weber)

I'm going with AUX2CAR. I have an iPod, but I'm planning to keep this Vibe for 6 years or so, and I might switch audio solutions before I'm done with the car. So, the AUX2CAR will give more flexibility.I also have the Belkin car charger for my iPod, which I needed in my previous vehicle. That charge...

OK, thanks everybody. I guess my "brilliant" idea is a bust.Kari, I saw your response in the other thread, but you said it was a guess, and I wanted to be sure. Joatmon, thanks for the links; I had tried searching, but couldn't get the right search terms. Some good info there, and it looks...

What's behind the 3rd button (A/C, Recirc, ?)

This is a followup to my thread Where to put the "aux-in" jack?, but since I jumped in with this part at the end, I figured that the person who knew the answer to my question might have only read the first few posts, and never returned to the thread. So.There's three buttons to the left of...

Oooh, I think I just found a great location. There's the buttons to the left of the stereo: AC, recirculation, then at the bottom a blank one. Whatever feature that does, my car doesn't have. Is there any reason that I couldn't pull out the fake button and have female RCA jacks flush-mounted there? ...

Re: Where to put the "aux-in" jack? (Kari)

Hmm, that doesn't sound like it would work for me. 95% of the times I get into the car, I'll be plugging in the iPod, so I don't want to have a drawer open. I think somehow making the jack be physically part of the dashboard would work best, but I don't know what spots it would work. Proximity to th...

Where to put the "aux-in" jack?

I've been searching and reading through the forums here, and gaining a lot of useful information. I'll be ordering the AUX2CAR setup to attach my iPod, and a ProClip to mount the iPod itself. (I decided against the IPOD2CAR, because in the next 6 years or so I might want XM, or something entirely di...
