They have changed the way they rate the horsepower but there is no denying that '05s (and presumably '06s) have lift enagement at 6800rpm... Please tell me the '06 didn't get even higher than that? In any event... It may be debatable as to how much of a difference it makes between the '03s and '04s,...
Here are some pix of the install. Personally, I'm rather impressed with how clean it looks, almost doesn't look like there's a turbo in there!http://matrixowners.com/forums...39188
According to Toyota and Pontiac.com the Matrix weighs 2800lbs and the Vibe weighs 2780lbs... Why do so many think the Vibe is the heaviest?!Edit: Also, I hate to break it to ya, but Employee Pricing only applied to new models so whether or not you bought it during the GMS event is really irrelevant.
This ATR kit is going for $3000It was going to be $2500, as with their Celica GT-S kit, but they dropped that idea and put together a completely new kit for the Matrix/Vibe (including a FMIC and larger turbo, among other things).
I will be getting one as soon as is possible, which will probably be in the next 4 months or so... Everyone (or at least I hope) over on MO understands that if you want the turbo, you're going to need a clutch. RioTrix (the owner of the dyno in question) had an ACT heavy clutch (I believe?) installe...
Oh the ignorance!ATR say the same exact kit should work on the 1ZZ, though they haven't found a doner yet so they don't know for sure. ATR and their turbo are a great thing for all Vibe/Matrix kind!Maybe you should look into a Prius?
I know for a fact that you can put an Optima Yellow Top in a Vibe (GT at least) because that's exactly what mine had in it the day I test drove it (blue ground wire kit and all!) but then the service department jacked all that >| along with the amp for the subs! Dirty SOBs.
The day many of us have been waiting for over at MO.com has arrived. ATR have completed their first 2ZZ turbo kit!!! REJOICE! I haven't seen much mention of it AT ALL over here at GVC, so I thought I'd clue you all in. I can't believe the potential of my Vibe GT now!Woops, forgot the all important l...
I've seen a few places speculating that they will jump straight in with a Dodge Caliber SRT-4, skipping the R/T all together.Brief article here: http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/s...1.php
I'm wondering, will the chip work well with an AEM Short Ram and Flowmaster 60 series muffler? Or is it not even worth looking at if you have anything other than a CAI and catback exhaust?

I love how rare Vibe GTs are! I've had the car 3 months and have yet to see another Vibe GT!(By the way, living in the center of Las Vegas {a heavily populated area} makes this even more impressive)
Justin it was =-D We try to stay in touch with him too! Nice to be able to ask him Qs from time to time... That and it was nice to have him introduce us to lift the right way! =-D He traded it in for a G6 GT at the dealership my brother works at and therefore I got a great deal on it =-D I snapped i...
My Vibe GT just happened to come with not one but two 10" CF-1044 Carbon Fiber subwoofers and although the service department jacked the 600w Coustic amp it all worked out because a friend had a spare, yes SPARE, SoundStream Rubicon 1002 (1000w) amplifier... That and the Moon & Tunes sounds...
I know this isn't an every day occurrence but I purchased an '03 Vibe GT a couple of months ago with 25k miles on it for $14 000 flat... and it actually came with EVERYTHING on this list:Premium Monotone Paint JobTinted windowsPontiac Spoiler6 speaker premium sound (not including subs)6 CD in-dash c...
First of all, surely more people would be interested in the hood than the body kit? =-D I at least would. Two, try posting on matrixowners.com , they have an EXTREMELY active forum and quite a few Vibe owners.
