Re: Wanted: need a few parts for 03 vibe GT

On the seats man, you can always do what I did. Pull em out and spray the sides w/ black vinyl/fabric dye. Duplicolor sells it. No need to pull teh covers off, just remove the seats and tape off the middle section. Spray the rest black and you have stock looking 2 tone seats. Mine came out great So...

Re: How much damage will this cause?

the access port under the seat is where the fuel pump is, and is more than large enough to put your arm into. it does just unbolt, but its sealed by a tar like adhesive. you should be able to pull the plate off without having to cut the sealer adhesive. its pretty soft.

Re: air bag light - outrageous dealer quote?!?

Re: 2zz-ge OCV filter parts number at toyota dealer? (Vince0259)

best to call gm/toyota parts devision, and ask directly. most dealers have no idea how to find parts you have no "official" name for, or part # reference.

Re: GT owners 6th gear usage (drunkenmaxx)

automatics have clutches in them also, and a failsafe that wont allow the gears to enguage, unless the rpms, and speed are ready for it.HOWEVER, if you go any gear, into PARK, you cause MAJOR damage.Park, has a rod that comes down into the gears, to lock them into place. over time, if you dont use t...

no matter what gear you are in, lift adds the same amount of HP in all gears of the lift range. It feels less powerful on higher gears, because the gear ratio is making the rpm range longer to reach the redline.record the redline range of 1st and 2nd, then replay in slower motion. as if it were the s...

I had to replace my clutch after a pressure spring snapped and knocked my fly wheel off center. I raced my 2003 GT since the day I got it, and after 70k miles, the spring broke, and around 90k, it started to slip. I only felt the unalignment at idle speeds, so I didnt think much of it.HOWEVER, GM sa...
