Re: water pump for 09 vibe

I believe it's fine but I'm nearing 160k and my Prius' just went out at 130k so I'm being a bit paranoid. From the sound of it, it's not unusual for them to go out by now? I'm fine with proactively replacing it if it means skipping out on it dying while on the freeway like what just happened with th...

water pump for 09 vibe

Just to confirm, the 09 Pontiac Vibe and 09 Toyota Matrix use the same water pump? Asking just to confirm since the local toyota parts dealers won't confirm I believe it is since 16100-39466 appears to be the part number for the 09 Matrix 1.8L and if I search that I get returns for third party brand...

09 car window still has power after shut off and keys removed

Today I accidentally discovered that after I shut the car off and remove the keys, I can still open the car windows for a limited amount of time. Eventually it will stop, but for a good amount of time I'm able to raise and lower any of the windows. I'm assuming any other ACC devices will continue to...

Re: FS: 2009 OEM Radio

Looks like ~$20 for shipping, so I'll do it for $35? I'm on vacation through Sunday so the soonest I'd be able to ship it out is Monday afternoon

FS: 2009 OEM Radio

I recently swapped out my 2009 stock radio. Unit is 100% functional, everything works. I did have my original volume knob break on me. I filled the replacement knob with epoxy to help keep the shaft from breaking again. I'll also include my extra volume knob as well. I didn't take apart the radio to...

Re: 2009 Aftermarket Radio Harness

One question, the harness I got with the new stereo has a connector at the end of the blue wire (power antenna). What should I do here? Do I need to use something that fits into the connector or snip it and use a (removed) connector? Also the ground that came with the stereo looks like it wants to b...

Re: 2009 Aftermarket Radio Harness

Great, I'll go with the GM18B since it has the dimmer/orange line and move the 12V. Thanks for your help!

Re: 2009 Aftermarket Radio Harness

This is the wiring diagram for the GM18B. Looks like the orange wire is there. So I move the 12V from P1-16 to P1-12? Is there a wiring diagram for the stock/car-side connector?

Re: 2009 Aftermarket Radio Harness

So if I move the red wire in the Metra harness to position 12, I won't need to run the extra red wire to another power source?

Re: 2009 Aftermarket Radio Harness

wow, was just about to post the same question

I did find these older posts on the topic, but they didn't quite answer this question (or maybe it did and I'm too dense to understand)
