My dealer told me they can't replace my instrument panel of the '03 with newer one because it may not be compatible. Anyone know if this is true?

Does anyone else have this problem? The 2003 Instrument Panel (in orange) is very difficult to read. Do you know if it can be changed out for a new one? Thanks.
