Well following the initial loss of power, the throttle became less and less responsive as I struggled to merge over 3 lanes to the shoulder. Still trying to wrap my head around why this would have happened. After doing some internet browsing today I am wondering if possible timing chain failure at highway speed caused the engine to seize. Hey Jeremy,
Thanks for the reply. Yeah it's AWD. And I don't see an hours estimate on the quote, just $3500 for labor. The engine costs are 4900 for a remanufactured and 2640 for a used.
