Re: GM Service (dlmetzger)

Re: A factory Order: Purchasing a Vibe in CANADA with a Trade-in (2fatty)

that must put it $2000 more than the matrix now. matrix was a grand cheaper before the increase and toyota has not bumped the price at all. base is still $16,660

Re: Car key (Jack)

since the dealer cut the key wrong, i suggest taking it back to him and have him cut it properly. and test it before you leave. question. did he copy cut it or did he do it from the key tag number? if it was the key tag number that would be weird.

Re: DRL's and Full on lights (NovaResource)

totally agree nova, and that was my point. let the drivers focus on driving rather than tinkering and taking their eyes off the road and such.i myself drive stick and love it because of the control you have. my wife on the other hand as well as most drivers today can't be bothered trying to learn. i...

Re: Extra Buttons...what are they for? (NovaResource)

hehe! as if anyone would steal a factory stereo. how ghetto do ya have to be. i think i'd steal the shift knob first. IMHO anyway.i thought the security system and the radio security were interlocked. meaning if you tried to steal the radio the car car wouldn't start. LOL!

Re: What the...? (pissedoffgokart)

i believe the one is the power converter for the 115v dash plug. the other one could be an amp for the radio. not sure on the last one though.

Re: Longer waits in Canada? (kshields)

i feel your pain ken. i was even told that a Corolla was going to be a 2 month wait from a plant that is 10 minutes from me in ontario. (removed).luckily my first choice (the matrix) happened to be on the lot the day i was going to order my corolla and just happened to be exactly the one i wanted to...

Re: DRL's and Full on lights (NovaResource)

you are right nova on few of those points you make but as i have learned in management you can't expect everyone to see things the way you (or i do). so what is left? take the option away and make it a no brainer. if you cut out the need for people to think about the easy stuff, they can focus on th...

Re: Longer waits in Canada? (kshields)

kind of makes sense though. the matrix is way more money to buy in the US, and the vibe costs us CDN's another $1000 bucks over the Matrix. the XRS Matrix works out to about $30000 CDN if you buy it in the States as opposed to 25k in the homeland. i guess you would want to sell the car to whomever w...

DRL's and Full on lights

i wonder when all governments will finally legislate that all new vehicles must have DRL's on them and that all vehicles that don't must turn on their lights during the day for safety. it only make sense that they look long and hard at the problem. the stats are there that show the number of acciden...

Re: Daytime running Lights (NovaResource)

if your nova starts that is...of the thousands of cars out there and you pick a nova to restore. you should have picked an "87 then. at least the components are more reliable. if i have to spell it out for 'ya (T.O.Y.O.T.A) and yes i was that kid in school... the one that would bide his time an...

Re: Daytime running Lights (NovaResource)

funny that you would like seat belts... i'm surprised you haven't made up some excuse about a pain in your neck and gotten a doctors note specifing that you do not have to wear a seat belt!speaking of pain in the neck. enough about it! if you don't goddam well like it then go and find your old frigg...
