Sounds like you already intend on passing the factory amp. I honestly thought that the factory amp wouldn't produce anything great, but my assumption is it's more based on your head unit. The one I have, Kenwood KDC-HD942U, and just using the Schoshe (sp?) wiring harness to stil luse the factory am...

I am sure this question has been asked ten billion times but here goes. I'm looking for the right answer. In doing some research on replacing the stock m&t system I found various answers in regards to the the bypass factory amp question... 1. Some people say they don't have to and it sounds fine...
