It turns out that the previous owner had keyless entry installed. It's a Code Systems unit that, as far as I can tell, was installed aftermarket....

When you say code do you mean just like an engine fault code? Something that can be read through the OBD??Thanks for the welcome. I've been doing a lot of reading in the last few days...lots of great stuff!Jason
