Thanks Tim. Spent about an hour hunting around for something with similar characteristics but couldn't find it. Will take up the hunt again tomorrow.

If I recall correctly the wire to the backup lamp was white with a black stripe. So maybe it's not red when it comes through the firewall.

Installing a head unit in the folks' vibe and need a reverse indicator to hook up to. Is there one behind the glovebox or is there a wire that ultimately goes to the reverse lamps?

Is the awd system part of the automatic transmission? Or does it mount up to it? If you haven't already. Check out the camaro forums. There are a couple companies doing upgrade kits to thr camaro and selling the oem hids as a kit you can buy for under a grand. You get the oem look with halos and if I recall correctly it's pretty much plug n play.

ok, i have given you guys a half a year to solve the problem i created with my stupidity. any new theories? i think i am resigned to just going up there and taking it to a shop and asking them to diagnose.on that note... anybody know a good shop in the salem OR area?

so i installed the replacement integration relay and the mirror still does not function and the old one does not show any signs of a minor electrical pop. its the minty green box fyi.any new theories for my next trip to visit my friend and get his mirror working??

yea its that other thing go pop that i am owrried about.there are three fuses under the dash that are the big quare type. 30 30 and a 40. what are those?hopefully GMJAP isn't travelling and will come thru with a schematic.how upsetting, a 30 minute job is now two days.

gmjap is right, finding ABS ... AND side airbags is a challange.funny thing was i didn't get stabilitrak, which was fine with me, but i forgot. about three times the wheels would spin on a rainy take off and i would go mman.... this traction control system sucks.finally realized, oh there isn't one.

yea if you got to pontiac.com/vibe and check out complete specifications, under packages is the "sport package" and under available accessories is the "Sport package" (no appearance word in there).iugh. luckuily it is a non issue... see other post.thanks guys.jeff
