Re: Hard Wire IPOD on M&T w/o Nav - Done! (Vibration)

Being extremely frustrated with the 6-Disc Changer M&T package not being able to use the AUX input, I finally bit the bullet and put in an FM modulator. I also found a really nice looking dock form Dension. The details of my installation are here: http://kharam.no-ip.info/ipod-vibe/

Re: Air Conditioning (ragingfish)

Looks like I came to the right place. My A/C seems to be a little weak. I actually checked the temp of the air coming out of the vents. On the road, it sits at 40 degrees. My problem is when I am parked. It will ony get down to about 55 degrees. Its almost as if the cooling fan cant pull enough air ...

Re: FM modulater (hwm187)

Mine works okay. I tried using an AUX inout converter, but it doesn't work with the 6-dic CD changer. My first FM modulator had poor bass, but I swapped it out with a better one (don't recall the brand, got it at Fry's). I recommand the Belkin auto kit to connect to the modulator so you can use the ...

Re: (Jahntassa)

OK, I finally recieved my GM12-AUX. It does _NOT_ work with the 6-disc changer. I finally read on another thread that the only radio suitable is the DVD nagigator box. OFW. I found an FM moddulator that had better bass response than my old one (that's what I get for going cheap!) and my system sound...

Magnaflow Sound

Does your Magnaflow sound pretty much like the sound from their web site? I want the performance without attracting too much attention from the cops. I like the sound of my Flowmasters on my Chevy V6 (4.3L) and hope this is about the volume of the Magnaflow on my Vibe GT. Any comparisons would be he...

Re: (ragingfish)

I just pulled my radio last night to verify the wire scheme. It apperars the 12 pin harness is there for options. I assume there might be a wire harness in the rear for an optional CD changer. I am still wondering why my 6 disc changer has an AUX button. The documentation from PIE (the only AUX inpu...

Re: Possible iPod integration (lombard)

I was looking at a kit by PIE (GM12-AUX) for my iPod. I am currently using a generic FM modulatorin my 2004 Vibe, but it lacks some punch (low bass). According to the docs, it should work with my 6 disc changer. I have yet to pull the unit out of my dash to verify the wire harness. I have noticed th...
