Re: fog lights (Raivis)

I like those foglamps. (I'm a girl so I'm allowed to have flowers) I keep looking at my beat up foglamps and thinking I need to replace them. They are now so beat up, the caulking isns't even holding them together anymore. So if I wanted to get some like yours, where do I go and are they easy to ins...

Re: Bought my vibe (joatmon)

My vibe is a 2004 - I don't really like the front end of the 2005. Also there is a "secret" credit on the 2004's that the dealers don't always tell you about to make them more in line with the cheaper pricing of the 2005's. I got my vibe at $500 over dealer cost so it was almost $5000 unde...

Bought my vibe

Well I finally found a vibe with the options I wanted and bought it August 6. Got the power, sport, safety & security, and spoiler package in monotone abyss black with a security system. So far I love it and I've had lots of chance to check it out. The first day I had to go to Saskatoon from Edm...

Re: Want accelleration without premium fuel (03VibeGT6Spd)

Whether premium is only a few cents more is not the point. This is not always the case, for example, when gas wars happen, they never affect the price of premium and we are due for some gas wars in Alberta, since Walmart is starting to put in gas bars. Anyway, the fuel economy rating is much lower f...

Re: Want accelleration without premium fuel (Psychobroker)

Thanks everyone for your input. I think what I'm going to do is get a 5 speed base vibe and add an Injen CAI and Magnaflow exhaust and maybe down the road, when I get bored, s/c it. I have a question though. When I testdrove the 5 speed, I didn't think the engine noise was very bad - you could still...

Want accelleration without premium fuel

I'm in the market for a car and like the Vibe. I drive a lot of mountain highways and spend way too much on gas. The Vibe seems to have everything I want, but I don't think the base model accellerates to my needs (I like to be first) and the GT and s/c both take premium gas (some small towns don't h...

Re: Shopping for a Vibe (joatmon)

Is Canadian gas the same octane rating as American? I have looked through the Vibe brochure 3 times and do not see any mention of premium gas. However in the Matrix brochure, premium gas is recommended for the XRS. When I called the Goodwrench people, they said that they didn't think the supercharge...

Shopping for a Vibe

I do a lot of hours of highway driving every year on a lot of two lane highways through mountains. I am currently driving a 200 hp Taurus which I love, but I hate the gas mileage. After looking around, I have decided that the Vibe has the options I want with the comfort I want at a price that looks ...
