Re: Clutch replacement not covered by warranty on new car? (joatmon)

just as a point of reference, my 2004 Vibe has 82,000 miles on it and still has the original clutch. It's a base model though, not the GT. Besides, new front brakes, this car has been pretty much error free.. no complaints.

Interesting reading, montreal. I live in upstate NY and this same thing is happening in my 2004 Vibe. I was getting worried so I figured I would check here to see if anyone else has the problem. I bought this car new (in Feb 2004) and this is the 1st winter it has happened (but this has been a colde...

Re: ac drip (melders)

good call, MikeI tried again to get that drainage tube off but that little (removed) is on there pretty snug ! (though I suppose that's better than having it slip off on its own like other people have had a problem with) Anyway, I stuck a screwdriver up the tube and got a few drops of water. I tried...

Re: ac drip

In just the last 3 days I'm seeing this ac drip problem in my Vibe. I checked the drainage hose and it is hooked up fine. If I have the a/c on I hear a hissing sound for about 5 seconds. This happens about once every 5 minutes. I believe this is when the water is getting sprayed on the front passeng...

Re: I've joined the club... the chipped paint club (gargoyle)

I went grocery shopping the other day and came out to 2 shopping baskets side by side bumped up against my driver's side door.. two chips now in the mid-door trim. Needless to say, I was NOT impressed. I've never understood the lack of respect people have, idiots ! I've got to pick up some Neptune t...

Re: PAC Aux2car with Sirius JVC KT-SR1000 (done)

After reading this thread I ordered the equipment, just got done installing it.I've had this Plug and Play Sirius receiver for 6 months and it has a built in FM transmitter. It plays pretty good, but the constant background hissing that is unavoidable with FM transmitters, was driving me crazy. I ne...

Re: how dirty is your Vibe?

Oh, don't get me started ! It pains me to see by Vibe in its current condition. It's a Neptune blue Vibe that looks like a two tone white/brown Vibe due to all the DAMN SALT they use in this area. I commute 45 miles each way, mostly highway. Haven't been able to clean in due to the cold weather.. I'...

installed new front speakers

alright, I just finished putting in a new set of Pioneers in the front.WOW.. quite the difference. I thought the factory fronts were ok, but now that I have a matching pair of Pioneers in the front, the car sounds darn good. M&T speaker replacement and ohms ratings

I've read through the entire section and I'm still not sure of the correct answer. I own a 2004 Vibe with the M&Ts package.I replaced my rear speakers and I noticed the factory speakers have a 2 ohm impedence. The Pioneer speakers I put in there have a 4 ohm impedence. They sound fine but I have...
