Re: converting a base Vibe intake(cai or short ram) To fit a Vibe G.T. (slingblade)

The angles are slightly different this can be overcome by using a longer intake hose. Any truck dealer sells these eg:Mack, Freightliner etc. Just ask for a 3' i.d. hose. Some are available with a bellows in the middle. I work for a Mack dealer.

Re: converting a base Vibe intake(cai or short ram) To fit a Vibe G.T. (Stang2Vibe)

Disregard my post about drilling a hole not required, the fitting is already on the pipe. The only difference is the G.T. throttle body is 3" diameter, and the base is 2.75". The tyhphoon uses a 2.75" ram pipe for both applications, you can purchase a stepped hose for this or get a 3&...

converting a base Vibe intake(cai or short ram) To fit a Vibe G.T.

All you need to do is drill a hole for the extra hose from the evap obd canister and weld or jb weld a hose barb or pipe to fit the 8mm hose on the side of the intake tube behind the mass air sensor. And your done. If you have a gt intake buy a rubber hose vacuum plug and plug the small vent pipe an...

magnaflow catback-difference between Vibe & Vibe G.T

I contacted Magnaflow today and the only difference between part#15758 and #15759 is the location of one welded on exhaust hanger.
