Front wheel bearings

I recently installed front wheel bearings in my 2004 vibe. This is not a job for the novice, but I thought I'd post a few comments/photo's for those who might feel like going for it.First, I'd say don't even attempt this unless you have access to a press. I have seen kits advertised that say you can...

AC diverter door?

I have searched and not found an answer. The switch on my Vibe that switches air flow from face to foot to defrost does not seem to be directing the air properly. Air comes out of the 'face' vents in all positions; some air comes out of the foot when switched to foot (but not all the air); and it se...

Door check "fix"

When I bought my Vibe the driver's door check was broken. I took the door panel off and salvage the part. I had a friend weld it back together and re installed it. To my disappointment, I found I then had the "door check in the way of the window rolling down" problem. Tonight, I pulled it ...

Re: (joatmon)

The statement about the drum does not make sense. When you put the drum back on it should barely fit back over the shoes. I like to spin it one or two turns to make sure it's well centered. The drum should lightly drag on the shoes, if not you need to go thru a brake adjustment process.
