Re: The Vibe... Totaled

Sucks to hear that Vibe is gone but glad you are all ok. Cars can be replaced. If she likes the Velostar and wants an SUV might I suggest the Kia Sorento? It is made by KIA but KIA is owned by Hyundai and the Sorento is a great SUV with good MPG's and a nice ride. My best friend has always owned VW...

Re: The Vibe... Totaled

Ouch. Another good car claimed by the cell phone. I probably would have done bad things to her phone had my car been hit (I also would have a totaled Vibe in my garage, waiting a near rear end). Good thing there were no injuries. Was the Cruze ruined? How fast did she hit you? Any chance you're goi...

The Vibe... Totaled

A couple days before Christmas, we were driving home from having lunch with my parents, we were waiting at an intersection to turn left and get on the highway. The green arrow comes on, there are 3 lanes of oncoming traffic, the first 2 lanes have cars stopped, maybe 2-3 cars deep. The last lane to ...

Re: (Salsa Guy)

but would the charcoal canister make it hard to start, to me I would think that its function would not affect the engine operation at all.I looked and all the lines seem fine, other than being scraped up.Im going to flow check the valves on the canister this weekend and see what happens.

Well no warranty coverage, its still not wanting to start ONLY when I put gas.I got under the car and snapped some pictures of the fuel lines, there does appear to be some minor damage to the lines, but nothing bad.I looked and it doesnt seem like the canister is broken or damaged.

i made sure to put lots of anti seize between the rotor and hub.also the aftermarket rotors had a much larger clearance than the OEM ones did.I bet money that the engineers saved some money by making the tolerance looser, but we paid for it in the end
