Got about 43K out of my Goodyear Eagles on the '03 Vibe but it was because one of the tires developed a bad section at 35K and gave me that old whoop-whoop-whoop.

Read in a couple e-mails that people have disabled the always on headlights. Asked my dealer if it could be done and he said no...Can a cut-off switch be installed?
