I would have to agree whole heartedly that the Vibe, no matter which model you drive, is gutless. You can't expect to get too many ponies out of an engine that is 1.8 liters, heck I buy soda in 2 liter bottles. There's no replacement for displacement. We had the same "wandering" issues with our GT and put new rubber on the car and had the tow-out adjusted. The car is on rails now. Upgrading from the Continental Tires was the first thing I had on my list when we picked the car up at the dealer.

We had the same problem with ours popping open when driving over bumps. We took it back top the dealer and they replaced and adjusted the latch. I figured we paid enough for the car to not have to do this ourselves or use tape.
