because i dont want to spend $400+ on it. plus apparently it only remembers the 4 sensors at a time, i read in the matrix forum you have to get it reprogrammed everytime you swap wheels. cash grab.

I get the tape idea but would it not look kinda ghetto? What about actually taking the custer out and putting tape on the inside so you cant see it? From what i read the cover should pull right off. and then you open up the cluster, cover the light with tape and boom! done!Any thoughts?

Disabling Tire Pressure Monitor light?

Hey everyone,So we just picked up a 2008 Vibe which came with TPM standard. It's a nice feature however the sensors are in our stock (winter) wheels. So with the summer wheels on the light stays on.After much researching it appears there is no way to just shut it off, but I did find this mod in a To...

Thanks,The only thing we are not pleased with is that the summer tires dont have the TPM sensors. So now we constantly have that light on! I don't see a way to disable it.

2008 Abyss Vibe, meet Turtle Wax Black Box

My gf and I recently purchased a 2008 black Vibe to replace her old car.The paint overall wasnt bad to start with. Had some little nicks and scratches here and there, a bit of paint fade on the hood, etc. First off I'm probably the biggest noob when it comes to detailing, never really cared for it s...

Yeah the mesh wheels are nice. I also have a soft spot for them (as you can see on my subaru!)Up next for the vibe will be tints. Other than that I dont think we'll be doing much to it. Maybe HID headlights for better visibility..I can't wait to see how good it is on gas. I'd hope it's good on gas, ...

Thanks for the welcomes! Yeah black isnt a bad colour at all, we both like it but she doesnt really wash her car. Therefore I'll be the one doing most of the washing and detailing. My other car is Silver so its pretty easy to wash. Thanks for the compliments on the wheels. I really like them, but the...

Yeah it sort of sucks that they made ABS an option. Same with the side airbags. Not many people will dish out the money for safety features. Thanks! this one is actually an 08 so im hoping its in great shape.

I went and took a look at a Versa tonight as well. it's not a bad little car. For the same price its a year newer and comes with 6 airbags.. but she doesn't like the look of it vs. the vibe. I have to agree with her there..Hopefully we can find one tomorrow to test drive. Then we'll at least know if...

Holy Replies! Thanks everyone!Unfortunately money is an issue, hence why we are looking at the prev body style Vibes. It doesn't have to be an 07, but that was one I was looking at. I ended up calling the dealer and started getting fishy numbers from him so I think I'll pass. The hunt is back on!This...

New Member, new to these cars.

Hi from Ontario! My girlfriend and I are looking at getting a Vibe. It would be her car as her current car is a 2000 Sunfire and needs to be replace. We found one we may go take a look at. Its a 2007 Grey vibe with power windows etc, steel wheels and no sunroof. I was reading reviews and I saw that ...
