Well I just went 353 miles from my first fill up, then put back in 11.58 gallons. Which equates to 30.5 mpg. This was with a fair bit of city driving; I'd say about 60/40 between highway and city. Not bad, I was glad to be above 30mpg and expect to be higher with dedicated highway driving, which is ...

Just filled up at $3.69 a gallon. I didn't today, but I can save 10c a gallon when filling up at my grocery store. Feels wrong having to spend over 40 bucks to fill up.

My 05 Vibe didn't come with a security shade. I read on the forums here of folks making their own hard covers. I really didn't want to put in that much effort for now, but needed some kind of facade. So I bought two curtain tension rods and a room darkening curtain; total spend was under $15. I thin...

While rolling into Kmart to pick up Portal 2 this morning (it's only $34.99!), I see this Vibe sitting by its lonesome. Decided to give it some love. My ride is on the left.

I am curious about what MPG I will get with my recently purchased 05 base. I filled up for the first time yesterday, and put in 10.63 gallons. I filled up shortly after the fuel light came on, which was about at the bottom of the red part of the gauge. I didn’t take it down any further because I w...

Re: Newly Vibe'n

Thanks everybody for the warm reception. I haven't been excited about a car since my '91 240sx. It's got some nicks and dings, used afterall, but I really like the way the Vibe looks. I plan to keep this car for many years to come.Hey raffe, yeah mini meet. We could do some Vibe x 2 car pics. Though...

Newly Vibe'n

Hello everybody. I just bought a Vibe this past week. I hadn't really considered one before, but since my 200k+ miles Corolla died on me, I needed another reliable vehicle. I found a 2005 Vibe. I have to say, I am pretty excited about this car. Once I saw it and drove it, I was hooked. After I get s...
