If it the 1 ZZ-FE engine remove the intake manifold and access should be rather easy. The starter is up front right under the intake manifold and (on my 04 matrix) looks to be an easy removal/install. Good Luck

I have a 05 Matrix Base. I WAS getting 34mpg AVG....When HOT weather set in here in Alabama it dropped to around 27 mpg!!!! I gotta figure this out and fast! Any suggestions?? These figure are all around driving, road city etc.

Jet V-force Plus is a piece of JUNK! I had one on my 2005 Matrix...almost lost every sensor when the damned thing shorted out internally. Jet would not do anything about it. I am looking into a suit against them.
