Removing a scratch

I have a scratch on the inside paneling that's annoying me. It's not deep but its visible. Is there anything to blend the scratch into the plastic so I'll quit being annoyed?

Re: Paint chipping after 2 weeks?! (cibomatto)

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into getting the dealer to do something about it. Very frustrating because I want to recommend this car to everyone. I love everything else about it but will have a hard time keeping mum about the crappy paint job. Also I'm not sure I want my Vibe with an executioners...

Paint chipping after 2 weeks?!

Is there anything to be done? I have a silver monotone (wish I could of gotten the two tone now) that is showing paint chipping after on a couple of weeks of average driving. Most of them are small nicks on the front nose and not too noticeable but there is a nasty scuff on the lower driverside mold...

Re: Did you join genvibe.com before or after you purchased your Vibe (vibe03)

In a 48 hour period of time. I went car shopping on a wednesday looking for something that would equal or better a Focus station wagon. Yeah as much as I like the focus styling and find it fun to drive the SE still looks like a den mother vehicle. Also the fact that the focus is indeed a ford was a ...

Re: vibe videos (russ257)

I have the DVD version which has a secret menu featuring a demo provided by none other than Q himself. After detailing all the mundane stuff he reveals the secret dash control panel that is opened after pushing the tilt steering lever all the way down while flipping the gas cap release tab at the sa...

Re: gotta vent!! (korgull)

This is gonna' hurt a little but: You just gave your salesman a $400 tip.I took my dad along (I'm a young looking 28 year old male) and let him deal with the salesman. Up front my dad told the salesman, a nice enough young fellow, that he had walked out of this said dealership twice in the past beca...

Re: Auto vs Standard Base Vibe (trdvibe)

I have noticed that the Vibe was designed for the driver to sit closer to the steering column. At 5'10 which is a pretty average height I feel scrunched up this way. I like to sit back and stretch out a little. The Vibe is perfect in terms of head and lumbar space but I do wish the steering column w...

Re: Auto vs Standard Base Vibe (wx-babe)

I test drove a GT 6 speed and then standard 5 speed. While I really wanted the manual I found that with my somewhat short arms, the Vibe's stick is a few inches too forward for my comfort. As an analogy, I felt like I was 'puppeteering' the car and was rather exhausted after the test drive. Because ...
