Re: (Vibewatcher)

Thank you for your input.Where the Exit numbers were off by 1, the map was right on with both my position and the exit layout, just the map exit label and voice annoncement was incorrect. So, I believe the callibration to be correct as my position was correct on the map. There is one local spot here...

Re: (Jahntassa)

Thanks for your reply... It good to know the SETUP screen is OK, or at least works the way everyone elses does.GM does have a new DVD available for sale, but they want $800! My beef is I already paid $2450 for a GPS with incorrect data, and they appear to want to charge back to me this cost, rather ...

Automatic Headlights - Daytime Running Lights System

I thought I read somewhere GM was aware of the sensitivity problem with the DRL sensor on the dash. I just got off the phone with GM customer service. The GM rep would not pass my call or concern on to someone who could answer my question, "Do you know when this problem would be rectified?"...

Re: Another build date question (2fatty)

I'm in Ottawa too. Just call the dealership and ask to speak with the person in charge of placing vehicle orders for that dealership. They will call GM and get the current status of your file. Otherwise the dealership will only know what is recorded on their weekly update report.

Hi Erle:The NAVTECH DVD that came with my GPS is not shown on the NAV Tech Web Site. I don't know how often they update this site. I just wanted to let the Vibe people know where to look should they want or need to make a specific inquiry on this item.Dave

A factory Order: Purchasing a Vibe in CANADA with a Trade-in

I ordered my Vibe in April and "should" have it by mid September. If my Vibe arrives on time as stated by the dealer my wait will be a total of 20 weeks. Now my question is to those of you who have placed a Vibe order Purchase, (not a lease), and waited a considerable period of time as I h...

VIBE Orders: A word of CAUTION

A word of CAUTION . . . ( GM CANADA)Most of us with a Vibe order, if not all of us, have been directly effected by GM production problems causing substantial delivery delays. You have a contract with your GM dealership. Know your rights and exercise them accordingly or you maybe in for a surprise! T...

Re: DVD Navigation Stereo (Doubull)

Alpine has a number of GPS DVD based models available. ( more $ than factory). Also their antenna is very flat and mounts neatly on the top of your dash. Please note: "After market window tinting will reduce or kill the GPS signal as it passes through the windshield" ... keep that in mind....

Does anyone have, and can comment on the NAVIGATION system for the Vibe?

I ordered my Vibe in April with the NAV option. (Still waiting for a build date!) Anyway... It appears to be a handy option for out of town travel, but expense. I'm hoping it meets my needs and expectations after spending the money for it. However it was cheaper than an after market installed unit. ...

I ordered my Vibe in April, (6 weeks ago). When I ordered it, I was told 8-10 weeks as the "Worst Case scenario"; 6-8 weeks "Best Case scenario". Therefore, I planned to have it by the end of June. It would take a miracle for it to arrive in the next few weeks, as I have just bee...
