Re: Changing the clutch in a Pontiac Vibe or Toyota Matrix (realred96)

I have 200,000 k on my 03 GT. Clutch slips if I lug the engine.Time to do it. My question, Dealership or private garage ? What price am I looking at ? I hear a range from $1200 to $2000.I could do it myself but I've lost that youthfull ambition.

Re: More&More vibes&matrixs (cool vibes)

Close to you, I'll keep an eye out. See more Toyota's than Vibes. Don't see any GT'S?? No body know how to drive a stick anymore? Got a great deal on mine because it sat on the lot for a long time, 0% and a good cash discount. Loving it and fair gas mileage, 35 mpg on the hiway doing 120 to 130 km/h...

Re: OE 16" Wheels (abronco1)

Re: A real question about lights (good vibes)

Love the lights. Best to drive with all your lights on at all times anyway!! I like the way they come on even on overcast days or if it is raining or foggy. Sensitivity is just right for me. Might even stick a piece of black tape over the sensor and never worry about it again. Car looks so cool with...

Re: average age of vibe owners.... (Abby-vibe03)

Well I am 52 going on 21. First car was a 73 Celica and my last one was a Villager Mini Van. Good to be young again. Love it but my kids think I've gone nuts when the Revs hit 7,000. [GT model]. Us grey haired old guys might look tame but how many of your fathers drove a 440 hemi?
