I wanted to post that i was able to swap out the ac clutch with one i got on amazon. worked great, took me a few hours and now i have cool air :D

I am getting quotes from several places for the repair on this and i had one place give me two prices and said it depended on if it was single overhead cam or double. the other places i have asked for quotes for have not given me different prices so i wanted to check on that with the community of kn...

Clutch

It seems that my clutch in my '05 vibe is slipping in the gears, so it sounds like i need to have that replaced. I have not had to source anything like this for my vibe yet is there a recommended brand? OEM vs other? an good sources?

I would just like to confirm what i think... I think i need a new ac clutch. Fuse is good, as is the relay from what i can tell. Friend of mine jumped the connection to the battery. No clicking. i can reach down and spin the clutch with my finger. so from what i see the compressor is still good. So ...

Thank you all for your help. It seems they do work. I don't know what i was doing before. I was trying them on a sunny day so maybe that was it. who knows. thanks for all the advice.

I did mine this past weekend. I went through the glove box opening and the radio opening. if you have small arms you could do it from the glove box opening. took me a few hrs most of it was trying to get to it and get the right equipment 5.5mm socket.Most of the clips on mine broke when i was trying...
