Re: Toyota Recall Expoands for gas pedal issues (jake75)

I'm with you on that. I have an '09 Vibe and my dad has a '10 Corolla. I can't understand how the pedal could get caught on either of them. My dad did end up taking his in for the warranty "fix", but it was not easy to see what they did, if anything.

Update:I checked my doors and such, all appear to be closed tightly. I also tried the battery thing tonight, but I'm wondering if I did it correctly? I disconnected the negative terminal. I then opened the car door, turned the ignition to "on", and pumped the brakes a few times. I got no l...

Didn't do anything *to* my Vibe, unless you count taking 3.5 hours to drive what should take just under 2 hours in a horrific blizzard from Menomonee Falls to Green Bay as doing something to my car Had a couple close calls, but overall handled it like a champ. Word to the wise, don't try to pass a s...

Well, the fuses look fine. It appears that the fuse that controls those lights controls like half the lights in the car. So...pretty sure I would have noticed something besides just these lights not flashing when I lock the doors .I will try that reset tonight, time permitting. If that doesn't work,...

I also just had this problem on my '09 Vibe GT. Thankfully it went away after a little while, but it was definitely disconcerting. Is it worth taking it in for service??

Sorry for the slight gravedig, but did you ever figure out what was happening? This just started happening on my '09 Vibe GT and I want to get to the bottom of it before my bumper-to-bumper runs out. I will check the fuse box tonight. Hopefully that's all it is :/

I lurked for a few days and then decided I needed to join up.So hello!I did a lot of shopping before deciding on the Vibe as a great mix of performance, price, and practicality. I've put on ...
