Re: What's the "Mystery box" inside my front doors

These are inside the front doors, and the windows do not contact them when rolled down. The boxes appear to be hollow with internal ribs in a grid pattern from what I can see.

And no, I didn't buy my Vibe at a DEA auction

Re: What's the "Mystery box" inside my front doors

What's the "Mystery box" inside my front doors

Hey, I'm prepping my doors for some serious sound deadening in my '05 and am currently building panels to plug the large openings in the door skin. I can't for the life of my figure out what the white plastic container bolted to the side-impact bar inside the door is. ??? I don't see any wires or se...

How to best approach my dealer regarding catalytic converter replacement...

I've noticed a few times lately a rotten egg smell associated with the catalytic converter 'issue', primarly after reversing into my driveway or driving with the hatchback open. I've also been envious of all you gen-vibers who seem to get significantly better fuel mileage than myself (another 'sympt...

Re: (06pvibe)

06pvibe: The wheels are by Sacchi. The previous owner put them on. Pretty inexpensive rims, available through Canadian Tire stores up here.Dunno what took me so long to join. But recently the info I've gotten from this site has been really helpful as I fix up my Vibe so I decided to become part of t...

New here... can you tell!

"sdfsdfsdf"Sorry for the initial burst of 'gibberish' -- brain wasn't communicating with the fingers....Anyhow, I've been following the forum here since I got my used 2005 Vibe last October and I love this site and my Vibe! I thought I'd make it 'official' and join the GenVibe family. Gues...
