Hello everyone!Once again I ask my fellow brothers and sisters of genvibe for their kind and generous assistance in this matter.I am thinking about getting some wheels and have made this short list of 4 choices, help me decide which one please. Thanks once again! In random order:Choice Number 1 Choice Number 2 Choice Number 3 And finally Choice Number 4

I vote for #1

I would have to see them on the car to make a better judgement...As I have noticed, the less flashy a wheel is the better it tends to look on the Vibe with the strong lines it has.I'd go with either 1 or three then. :D

#1 or maybe #3.. double spokes are tricky to pick.Personally, I am all about symmetry when it comes to wheels ( the only exception being 5 spokes )

#1 would be my choice too, for the wheel all by itself, but when I was shopping I found several wheels that looked great on their own, but just didn't click on the car. I also found that the diameter made a difference, e.g. when I got to an 18" or 19", I thought the open spoke designs made the Vibe look like a Conestoga Wagon and I preffered a thicker spoke. I used the "see it on your car" feature on http://www.tirerack.com , which had over 60 wheels for the Vibe. Even if they don't offer the exact ones you want, you would likely find something close enough to help re checking the look on the Vibe.(BTW, once 'installed' on the Vibe, I liked an 18 incher much like your #3.)

Thanks Bill!I have used that "look on the Vibe" thingy and these ones looked decent on it. I am hoping to get a quick photoshop lesson and see how these 4 would look on my car.

For me, it depends on the color of your Vibe as well. Personally, I don't like wheels with universal lug patterns, but I also don't really like those MB Motoring either.Between these 4, I would go with #3.

You can put it up on your Vibe to see how it would look like. Otherwise if someone could Photo Shop that for you it would be great. I could try later myself if you like.

Here's a really quick & dirty look at all 4, plus your base steelies with wheel covers. I used the photo of your 'baby' in the shopping center from cardomain. It's hard to 'warp' the rear wheels properly with the old program I was using, so I apologize in advance.

Actually, (going against forum opinion) I like #4 the best! I also like #1, but #1 didn't copy well in the montage, probably because it was the first one I did. My choice is based upon practical experience with those Indiana winter/spring road hazards we call 'chuckholes'. I think they would eat #3 rims alive. I ruined two 13" wheels (and properly-inflated 80 series tires) once in a single hole, traveling at 30 mph on a city street. You're going to have to live with them a long time. It's your car and your money. Pick the wheels YOU like best!

Well in Montreal we are infamous for our city wide pot holes! Number 3 look very delicate and I am afraid of busting them on our horrible roads....hmmm maybe number 1.Quote, originally posted by kostby »You're going to have to live with them a long time. Montreal is KNOWN for potholes... just have to drive careful with what ever rim you decide on and do not get to low of a sidewall tire. 4 would be the toughest rim against pot holes though but its ugly.
