I just bought a Matrix radio I want to install in my dad's 98 Grand Am.Anyone know, since this radio is made by delphi/delco whoever...if I need an adapter harness to go from GA wiring to radio, or if the harnesses have been relatively consistent the last 5 years or so?His radio has theftlock, and i think 6 speakers, if that makes a difference?

I had a 01 Montana with a Delco unit and I used the same wiring harness in my Vibe. So I presume the wiring harness will be the same as well.

It will probably just snap right in. If it won't just snap right in, then it probably won't just snap right in.

The wiring harness should fit, but may be the bracket to screw the radio in hte dash will not fit.
