Driver side front door threshold rusting under plastic cover..
Is it easy to remove cover to clear the rust and repaint area?

All that holds the plastic cladding on the exterior on is some pushpin things. The corner near the door opening is probably already pulled back some from catching curbs and whatnot...I'd start in that corner.

I am not sure if you are talking about the sill plate or the door cladding. If it's the door cladding look here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=44681#p507900

The sill plate probably pops out. Look for screws first.

If you're asking about number 14 in the diagram, there are no screws. I've never taken that part off, but if I did try, I'd pry gently with a screwdriver and hope it pops off without breaking
