Hello everyone,
I need the brake backing plates for 2003 Vibe GT rear left and right.
I had the same issue as "Mozilla2ZZ" had in this post.

My hub was rust welded to the backing plate and even with a puller it didn't let go, and it slightly bent the backing plate.
I haven't started on the left side so I'm not sure if I'll need a new one yet.

At the moment I'm hoping to find an alternative new part.

FWIW, Toyota P/N's: Passenger Rear XRS: 46503-20070. Driver's Rear XRS: 46504-20070.

Dad had a simliar issue with his 09 AWD, and we found them through a Canadian dealer for $50 instead of the $200ish they wanted in the US.

The Celica GTS (99-06) or Corolla XRS (I think those were 05-06 only) share the same rear backing plates. that can help widen the search for you.
