Aftermarket Sheet Metal

I will soon be faced with replacing a front fender. Just wondering if anyone has experience with aftermarket body parts. I'm seeing quite a range of prices, which I assume means a range of quality. Would appreciate input from those who've been there.

Depending on if you are a shop will be doing the work, you could get a panel from a salvage yard. The paint will likely be faded just enough to match your current vehicle and the metal and mounting points will be OEM. What price range and color are you working with?

I would also recommend getting a used panel like from
www.car-part.com if you can find one local. My friend's shop put a used door on my son's 06 and it worked just great. Can't even tell it was used except it does not have the VIN number on it. He did tell me that they use Certifit parts when they end up using aftermarket parts, as they've found they tend to fit the best.
Good luck!

I've got a good driver side fender that I'll be selling cheap. In with a Canadian dollar in a slump, it might be worth it to ship

OP owns a Matrix (INFILTRATOR!), so I'm afraid you won't be making this sale, Barber
