I need to add a 12 volt constant power port for my sons headrest tv in the back seat. Short of ripping out everything and testing with the multimeter, can anyone tell me where to find a power feed? I really don't like that the front plug is switched so I want a constant feed.

Thanks

I saw the post header and my first thought was, "Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker." :D

If you want constant feed you may need to run power. I don't know what in the Vibe takes constant draw. It could be easier to just keep the power switched, and run power from a cigarette outlet up front.

JonnieMo ..... Don't know if this will help but take a look at this photo:

As you can see by my writing on this connector, this is the plug for the factory cig lighter on our 09-10 Vibes! When I installed heated seats I simply spliced into this circuit and it works great. Keep in mind that this circuit is only active with the ignition "on". For me, with heated seats. this worked out great as I wouldn't want the seats heated when the car is off. Anyways this is located under the center console. Simply remove the console and you'll see all this underneath. Solder a new cig lighter assembly to this and you'll now have TWO ports instead of one. Mount it on the back side of the console then junior can plug his stuff in BUT it won't work unless the car is on! Good luck & hope this helps ;)
