Had my eye on the Power Acoustik PD-622NB 6.2" INTEQ Double-DIN TFT/LCD Touchscreen Multimedia Receiver. anyone know if there are any issues installing this into my 05 vibe?

Should be pretty straightforward. My son and I installed a JVC DVD radio in his 06 last Christmas and it was pretty easy with the adapter harness, antenna adapter, and faceplate install kit. He soldered all the wires together on the radio harness and the adapter harness and it was basically plug and play. One thing I did do is reuse the metal mounting brackets from the stock radio as they are much more secure than the plastic brackets in the kit. I did have to drill a couple of holes in the metal brackets and cut them a bit to attach them to the new radio. The only part of the faceplate kit we used was the textured radio surround.

Yes, he has a large flash drive (32G?) in his glove box that he has music and movies saved on. The cable is a good 2-3' long so it can be positioned almost anyplace.
