Greetings, All of my window and door lock controls have separated from the top panel. How can I gain access to the interior of the door panel and (hopefully) reconnect them?

Take out the screws from door handle, and under the tiny cover of the latch handle. Check if there are any other screws. After you have all screws out just give a firm pull... It will pop off. I would suggest not doing it in the cold because the plastic could crack.

My window and lock controls have disconnected from my surface controls. How can I access the interior to hopefully reconnect?

How can I access the interior to hopefully reconnect?I am having a hard time believing that the controls "disconnected" from the wiring plugs behind them. You have to give the forum what year the Vibe is. A 2009 model has three screws to remove before you can remove the door panel. The earlier vibes have two screws. One screw is behind the cover of the door opener handle. I can't remember where the others are.

The second one (on earlier Vibes) is at the bottom of the door pull. You'll also want to remove the little triangular trim piece up by the mirror. It just pulls out.

welcome to genvibeOne thread about how to remove the door panels is http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=24086Some people have had a problem where the driver's window/lock switch assembly has detatched from the silver trim piece and sunk into the door. from the slightly different desciption you posted in http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=46021 it sounds like that is the problem, and if so, then perhaps http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=45097 will be pertinent.
