Well the rear diff oil seals are leaking again on the vibe. Had them replaced around 30k at a dealer and when the car came back the new seals were leaking worse, so they were replaced again. Now at about 70k one seal is leaking badly. I would rather not take it to the dealer a half hour away and fix it myself, i have the mechanical ability to do so. Anyone know where i can get the seals and what the part number is? i have had no luck finding them online.

If you have the old seals take one to an industrial supply store that specializes in bearings. The Toyota dealer can order them for you.

well looks like i will hit the toyota dealer, want to have the new parts before i disassemble the car. im positive its not over filled, it was not leaking for about 30k then started a slow leak that has only got worse. It leaked enough to completely drain the rear diff a few times now and i have been refilling it monthly now.
