Blue or red Loctite on flywheel bolts?

I bought a set of ARP flywheel bolts and they do not have any thread locker on them. Should I use the blue or red Loctite on the new bolts when I install the flywheel.Thanks - Mike

I have red 272 that I use on anything I forsee never needing to come apart (mainly because that's what's at hand)

He said anything that you won't be (or shouldn't be) taking apart for a very long time and that is prone to the high rpm's and/or vibration I should use the red.

They'll both work well. I used the same bolts on the flywheel of my '03 GT. I contacted ARP and they said that either would work well provided that the bolts were torqued down to around 70 ft. lbs. I was also infomred that 30w motor oil can also be used with aournd 50lbs. of torque. The ARP bolts are specially hardened aircarft grade steel. They're much stronger than the stock bolts, so they can be tightened more than the 35 ft. lbs. that Pontiac (Toyota) recommends.
