TN Rock Slide

Cool video of a rock slide here in TN (near where the Olympic kayaking was held during the Atlanta games). The geologist who told everyone to move back was my teacher for an engineering geology class I took. She was cool cause you could really tell she loved her work. I heard stories of a mountain in KY or TN actually sliding off killing people at a campground and creating a lake, this was years ago. Now sure how accurate it is...

There are currently boulders the size of houses sitting on I-40 on the TN/NC border...it's expected to be closed for months for cleanup and additional blasting to get some even larger boulders off that are barely hanging on.
