Was sitting in a parking spot ( car off & parked ) I noticed when I pressed the brakes would hear a squeak. Also when i pulled on the parking brake I got the same sound. Does my parking brake need to be lubed?

You need to take the mouse out of your brakes. This was the cause of a squeaky brake syndrome of mine a few years back. GRAPHIC CONTENT CONTINUES BELOW...A mouse had somehow got its head stuck between the brake pad and the rotor. Needless to say, the mouse was dead and didn't have a head ("No more rhyming and I mean it!"). Once I removed the mouse, no more squeaking.

I know that there is a noise when pressing the brake pedal in Park and releasing. But to me it sounds normal like the vacuum pump or pressure from the caliper pistons.

It's just the rear brake shows sliding on the backing plate.. shouldn't need to worry, but if you are, do a brake jerb..

i think whatever the reason may be, you need to get your brakes fluids check. and lubrication of the hardware is a later purpose. be safe
