hey guysi know this has been covered somewhere already, did a search and couldnt find the right info, though. anyways, i'm starting to get that periodic knock in the front passenger side when i hit a bump.mav, i remember your mentioning that you experienced that with the smashing pumpkin () and i think you said y ou tightened the bolts and it went away....something like that. i'm gonna try to do this too, but want to use a torque wrench, so as not to strip or snap the bolts. first, whats the lb/ft for the front strut bolts?second, should i put the car up when i do this? or can i loosen/tighten the bolts as the car sits?thanx in advance.

Sounds like either loose bolts or a toasted upper strut mount.When you tighten the strut bolts,do it on a level surface.

tighten the strut nuts and the nut in the center of thr strut. that made the noise in mine go away.
