Front strut gone...

It blew last night on the way home but Ididn't realize it until late last night when I let the dogs out and the front eld was leaning to the drivers side. Still driveable for my 2 minute commute each way for work but not much more than that. I'll have to pick up a set of replacement KYB GR2's, ASAP!

Go for the Tokicos. If the car is leaning, you may have a broken spring or other problem. My left front strut was totally gone for about a month and it never leaned a bit.

I have seen plenty of blown struts, but none have caused the car to lean. Not saying it couldn't happen, but would be a bit unusual if that was the cause.

Tokico's will not work on the AWD, well maybe the fronts. My only option is the KYB GR2's for all 4, which is fine since I am only dropped 1". I had been wanting to replace them all soon anyway. A little sooner than I wanted though.Hmmm...strange that others who have had blownstruts did not lean. I guess it would make sense that it should not since the spring is what is supporting the weight. I had it confirmed this afternoon at the dealer who gave me an estimate to replace it. I laughed, turned and left.

I ordered my replacements. I have switched out my springs 3 times before so I have removing the struts and shocks down to an art.
