Help! Intake Air Temperature Sensor

Help! I can't find the IAT sensor. Can anyone help me out?

It's in the Maf sensor assembly.It's the yellowish brown probe thingy.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of. You don't know how to take it out do you?

It's one unit,I don't think you can seperate it.Why is your's toasted?

I have a stupid code, basically if I can figure out how, I can get away with only doing the IAT, and not the MAF.

Did you try cleaning it yet?What code are you getting?

I cleaned it. I will probably have to replace it. But hey, after 46k this is the first thing gone wrong.

They are like $150 for the whole MAF assembly.They are sensitive so disconnect the battery when you fiddle with it.

Thanks for your input. I finally broke down and called the dealer, there is no IAT. It is part of the MAF and no other way to do it.

if you have a kunkles auto parts up there there the sensor cheaper then the dealer if not junk yard any toyta with are motor is the same
