I have a 2004 and the sun visors from my knowledge...dont extend..........but maybe i should double check...

If you have side air bags you won't have them. If you don't have side airbag then you should have them

I remember reading this a few years back.I forgot I even had these,thanks for reminding me.

I have a2004, and NO side airbags, and NO extending Visors. Do you mean they just will slide over, or do you mena that they should have the little plastic peice that comes out and makes it longer?

They are suppose to just slide out on the rail, the whole visor.

ok, maybe mine do that. I know one does, but I can't remember if it's the Vibe or the Lancer. I will check afte work to verify

06 with out side air bags..and I have them.

I have an 04 base with side airbags and my visors DO extend, although they advise not to do it when forward, only while turned to the side window. There's really not much room to the rearview mirror while positioned in front.

I have an 04 and they don't extend.Are they suppose to pull down or are they able to slide to cover the side window?

I can see where the curtain air bags would interfere with the extending visors, but maybe the ones from '04 that didn't have the curtains would be ok even if extended.

I can verify at least the first part of your statement. My '05 with curtains and side airbags does not have them. With the information VivaVibe gave, what you said makes sense.

I'll be Hornswaggled! My 04 and 06 vibes both have them! I was flippin' through Genvibe for some good reading and found this subject. Had to run out and check! Thanks guys! Learn somethin' new everyday!

I too checked, and it has it, and I have an 04. So I am guessing they all had it. Good concept, but I have never used it
