Tire Pressure Story

My '04 Vibe is still only two weeks old to me. But, I had a tire shop check the tire pressure a day after bringing it home; just to be sure the dealer had the right amount in them. All the stem caps were loose so I figured they must have done it. The tire shop said they were all at 32 psi, which is correct. I was a happy camper.Yesterday while washing it, it seemed the driver side front tire was low. The tire gauge I had in my toolbox was giving irratic readings, so I went out and got a better one with the needle gauge instead of the type with the popout stick. Sure enough they were all low, with the one I noticed 10 pounds low. Took it down to the corner station and filled them all to 32 psi as recommended. I'll never trust anyone else to take the readings again!I was trying to do everything right, and driving real easy on my first tank of gas so I could get a good estimate of the MPG. It got 29 MPG on my first true fill-up with mostly city driving. But, with low tire pressure all around it probably got less than possible.
