Can I add a sub to existing amp

I have a 2003 moon and tunes and a sub lying around. I'm wondering if it's possible to just run the sub through the factory amp. I know it wouldn't sound the greatest, but it's the cheapest.

Yes, just get a scosche line converter from Wal-mart for $20 and a wiring kit and hook everything up. Mine was like that for a while before I got all new amps, speakers, etc...

That would be a no. The 2003 M&T doesn't have provisions for a sub.You would need a seperate amplifier for that sub, THEN the wiring kit and line converter to make it work. If you just have a 'bare' sub with no amplifier, you cannot power it off the M&T amplifier.

I just used to converter to get the signal for the sub amp from the M&T amp. Thanks for the correction!
