				Drivers Door Switch Plate -- How is it attached?

				The Window switches and Door Lock Buttons push down into the door when I push on them.Does anyone know how the panel the switches are mounted into  is attached?   Is it glued or are there clips holding it.  Will I break something else by prying it up or should I remove the entire interior door panel?

				The silver trim and the module underneath that has all the buttons should be attached together.You can remove the silver trim by prying it up on the upper end, then pulling it up and out.  I'm not sure if the switch block clips into it or screws into it, but once you get the trim up you should be able to see.

				if memory serves, its a big clip.careful how you remove it, once i did mine, it never clipped back quite the same.

				remove the door panel first!! then look at the back side. never pry up on things unless your sure thats how they come off. just a bit of freindly advice from a former auto repairman

Just pry up on the top of the silver trim.  I've removed mine before; this is how it's done.  It's described as such in the service manual.See attachment:
