Different tires? pros/cons

Since I am a total n00b, I have a question. Becasuse Vibe is front driver, does it pay to have front wheels wider than back ones? What would happend?

It will look very stage, wider tire in front. If you want to have wider tire, change the 4 tires. with that, will be also easier for tire rotation.

This is the only time you would want wider wheels on the front. Drag racing. Traction is horrible in wet/snow/dirt.

Since my bare bones base Vibe does not have ABS, I was toying with the thought of using taller & wider rears, just for the Street Machine image. Probably not a good idea though, as it would screw up cornering balance and preclude tire rotation...
