I've just used regular booster cables on mine the one time I had to boost it.

I do not think you could really have a wrong booster cable. The gauge of the cable is mostly related to their length. The longer the cable the higher the gauge wire you want (wire sizes use lower numbers for thicker wire). The thickness of the wire also determines how much current you can safely put through it but 8 gauge is nice and thick and I could not imagine you needing to pull more current through it than it could handle, at least not when using it for it's true purpose of jump starting or boosting another car.Sometimes it is important to get a set with the right clamps on the end. Some cables have clamps that let them attach more readily to side post batteries. Some clamps are so cheaply made that they twist and distort and do not clamp to the terminals well.Quote, originally posted by dennisdrive »Hi everyone ;I was just wondering what kind of booster cable to get for the vibe .There are so many in the stores .I got a 8 guage ; 12 feet booster cable manufatcured by Woods from Superstore today .
