Does anyone with the stock amp have the speaker wiring diagram. I want to make sure I have all the positives and negatives correct?

Just new to this forum. Actually first forum I've been involved in. So hope I am asking questions OK.I have the factory 6 disc changer with 200 watt amp. Want to replace amp with 4 channel Alpine. Can anyone tell me if the output from the head unit is low or high level. (any idea on voltage level) Is there a wiring diagram that shows the head unit output/amp input. Thanks for help.

It's all line level my friend! Just plain ol' speaker leads.

Anyway I could talk you into sending me a copy of wiring diagram for the two connectors that go into the 200 watt amp.It would help me out a whole bunch in replacing that piece of CR--Thanksquote:I have the service manual and can let you know later.

I'd also love to have a copy of this diagram. I'd like to tap into the rear line leads at the stock amp and wire them to my Kenwood so I can push my Infinity Kappas. I'd be willing to host the picture on my web server!

Never did get a copy of wiring diagram. I did figure it out myself.Everything seems to work OK and polarity checked out with voltage meter.NO GUARANTEES yours will be the same. In our car the wires to speakers change colour somewhere between amp and speaker. Maybe change from GM wiring harness to Toyoto. You should go right from speaker to amp and buzz out wires to confirm correct wires and polarity. What kind of sub do you plan to install.

Usualy, to make the difference between + and - on wiring, the neg. has the same color as the +, but with a black line.
