Anyone had probs w/ this or is it a normal function? The only question is, why does it turn on when you open every other door?

I remember someone having that problem when it was really cold. when you open that door, does it look like the switch in the door jamb sticks out like it's supposed to or is it still compressed like it would be if the door was shut? (might have to compare it to the one on the driver door)

Yeah, if it's only the one door..it's probably the door switch..

yup, winter tends to do things to cars that can't be prevented at your dealership... like frozen washer nozzles even with -40 in the tank, stuck locks and doors, wipers damaged due to turn on with blades frozen to window.. and sticking door jam switches.I'm going to say try heating that door area up around the switch, see if when you open the door if it is popping back out, if not its stuck.

I have found on mine that if any of the doors are not absolutely tight the light comes on.

If it is broken and you can use a screw driver, you can replace it on your own. Forget the dealer... Unless it is under warranty. Here is the procedure...1) Remove the one mounting bolt and pull the switch (1) from the door jamb. 2) Disconnect the front door jamb switch electrical connector. 3) Remove the door jamb switch (1) from the vehicle.
